The system still has two screens with the lower screen featuring all the familiar Nintendo touch screen functions and capable of displaying 16.77 million colors. The secret is in the upper screen that also displays 16.77 million colors but at a resolution of 800 x 240. This means that they have allowed 400 pixels for each eye to enable 3D viewing.
